Nine holes of golf, full of birds. Pick your course, pick the right club, then make contact.
Golf cart: after a long shot you hop in the cart and drive to your ball from the driver's seat (click and move the mouse to look around, V for a chase camera; W/S drive, A/D steer, Space brake, H horn, E hop out). It's quickest on the cart path, and it isn't allowed on greens or in bunkers. In the cart, T (or Auto) turns on the autopilot, which drives you to your ball; steer to take over. With the autopilot off, L (or Lunatic) goes lunatic: no lie slows you down, you can drive anywhere, and the cart is twice as fast. G walks straight to the ball, C takes the cart any time, and outside the cart T switches between driving and walking after shots.
Watch for wildlife: swallows loop over the fairways, geese pass overhead, ducks paddle on the ponds, and crows and robins scatter when your ball lands near them. Clip a tree and the songbirds come bursting out. On the links it's gulls and oystercatchers instead.
The links are an original seaside course in the spirit of the classic Scottish links like the Old Course: no trees, rumpled fairways, gorse and heather, deep pot bunkers, huge greens, a burn guarding the first, stone bridges, the sea alongside and plenty of wind. The turf is firm, so the ball bounces and runs: play low and let it roll.
